To use MatLab via the Grid Portal (i.e. through a web browser)

There's a few steps

This assumes you've set up a 'UC Grid' account

  • Open a browser to https://grid.ucsb.edu
  • Go to the Interactive Tab and click on qsr-MatLab.
  • Another browser window will open and you'll have to click 'yes' and/or 'trust' a few times.
  • MatLab will open in another window on your computer.
